My Photo

Biography

... have been involved with various forms of decorating, design, artwork and handcrafting almost my entire life - beginning with drawing, watercolor and clay sculpture in my teen years, and eventually expanding to acrylic paintings, dried and silk flower arranging, decorating, large scale wall murals and jewelry design. Have survived the process of four newly built homes in my relatively short lifetime. Actually designed the home we live in, and did partial design changes to the two before that. Have assisted numerous friends and family members in decorating their homes.

Over the years my professional highlights included producing over 200 custom, hand painted renditions of private homes on slate tiles, creating hundreds of handcrafted gemstone and crystal jewelry pieces, painting several dozen commissioned wall murals, and also spending an exciting few years assisting clients with interior and exterior selections for a small but extremely innovative (and nationally award winning) custom home builder.

When not completely engrossed with painting & note card making (or knee deep in beads, flowers or cooking projects), my free time is spent happily married to my very own Prince Charming, and living with our four quite delightful teenage children (well... most of the time!), two cats and a dog. We live together in a happy, albeit chaotic, household near the banks of the St. Croix River in the eastern suburbs of the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

Have lived in Massachusetts, Northern Virginia, Texas, New Jersey and now here in beautiful Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you visit again soon!
