Busy as a Bee and the start of the next FREE PENDANT contest!!
Yesterday was a rare and wonderful day for Jim and me. Since it was
his birthday, he took the day off from work - and I took a break from
the shop. It was quite blissful sleeping in for a bit, and then being
able to sip coffee together in a quiet environment once the kids all
got off to school. Jim and I then enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at one
of our favorite local spots (Gorman's Restaurant in the 
very quaint
downtown area of Lake Elmo) before heading into Minneapolis to visit a
wonderful bookshop. Somehow we always manage to spend several hours
(and at least $100) whenever we do this!
Today I am making up for yesterday's frivolity - have supplies, tags, cello, note cards, business cards and gift tags scattered to and fro as I assemble my submission for the April Sampler. I'm very excited as this is the first marketing I've done to the media since starting BeeDazzles last fall !
Another top priority of late is to add more of the glass
pendants to the shop - of the first four listed, two have already sold!
And
for those of you inquiring (very sweetly, I might add) about my Mohs
surgery - it has now been scheduled for mid-April. The silver lining
in all this is apparently I won't be vacuuming or lifting heavy objects
for 2 weeks as my stitches heal! :)
Birthday wishes also go out today to Dianne! Happy Birthday to you - and hope it was a very lovely one indeed!!!
