Wow, I was quite shocked, and I'll admit even a little embarrassed, when I realized it had been over two weeks since the last update. Talk about a short contest period! All of you who have left comments will likely have better than a 1 in 20 chance of winning some free goodies at the end of this month :)
Catching up a bit here - the first week of June we were quite busy with gardening and household chores, and also with my birthday and the end of school. We celebrated my birthday with a day of relaxation and, more importantly, no cooking! Lunch was my favorite Santa Fe Chicken Salad (via Applebee's Carside To Go) and Jim cooked steak, salmon and shrooms on the grill later that night. The girls decided a cake was a necessity, so they ran out for a delicious ice cream cake which we all enjoyed!
Two nights later was Kristi's big celebration. The girls' middle school is actually 7th, 8th and 9th grades, so the 9th graders have a 'Grad Party' in the form of a Dinner Cruise on the St. Croix River. Kristi and her 350+ classmates had a great time, and Danielle got a glimpse of what she'll be enjoying next June. The next day, which happened to be the final day of school, was the 9th grade trip to ValleyFair and the 8th grade trip to Como Zoo. A perfect end to a fabulous year of excellent grades, concerts and athletic events.
In the studio, I've been concentrating on re-building inventory in the shops after downsizing everything earlier this spring. And as seen in the new header (above) I've also been super busy reformatting documents, labels and packaging with the new BeeDazzles logo!
I'll be back soon - and don't forget your comments - if you want to win a free Art Pendant, Note Cards or Mirrors - winners will be drawn in just one short week!
